About this work
"Threads of Power: A Feminist Energy Narrative" is a fashion line where each design is a chapter, viewed from a different character's perspective, on the relationship between women and Canada's energy sector. The pieces are built from a story-like motif and bold, avant-garde materials, not meant as wearable streetwear but as designs meant to provoke thought and stir dialogue. The featured design, "The Story of Fossil Fuels," renders the sector's history and cost directly onto a garment silhouette.
